MARKET AWARENESS
We have all heard the benefits of offsite construction; programme efficiency, cost saving, carbon reduction, social sustainability, but what is offsite and where do you start?
We have all heard the benefits of offsite construction; programme efficiency, cost saving, carbon reduction, social sustainability, but what is offsite?

Last year Homes England announced 25% of affordable homes built on the strategic homes programme need to built using 55% PMV. Which has left many of our housing associations confused to say the least. What is offsite, what is PMV? And just how?? Where do you start?

This course will be a series of sessions designed to help educate the industry. A one day event made up of a combination of seminars and workshops.
The conference will track the life of a project from inception to completion. We will hear from clients who have embedded themselves in the offsite world, architects who have worked within the offsite industry, the contractors, and manufacturers themselves, and government organisations who are driving the offsite agenda.

We will discuss the ‘dos and don’ts’, hear about lessons learnt along the way, and answer all questions around offsite as the conference progresses. Attendees will be left with resources to take away with them, a dedicated support system through the Offsite Alliance, and a network that will be able to support them throughout the life of an offsite project.

Throughout the day attendees will alternate between seminars, given to all attendees together, and interactive workshops, given in smaller groups.

There will be a number of facilitators that will run the workshops. The groups will move between these workshops. The attendees would be split into diverse teams to replicate project delivery teams.

WHERE CHANGE HAPPENS!
Workstreams are where change happens!
Each workstream starts with a barrier to change and a group of people who are up against it. We outline the groups objectives and invite our members to join. We collectively agree on the terms of reference and outline if there are any additions.

With a wide range of sub-groups, there’s no better time to share your expertise to help change the state of the industry

When becoming a member you can apply to be part of a range of workstreams and sub-groups so that you can effectively deliver maximum value to your group.
